e30 brake upgrade

Hi everyone . I've got a 316i with a m52 in it but I need to up grade the brakes . I know someone with a set off a 318is would these be alright to use or would I be better of getting some off a 325 or any other idea.

all e30 had the same sized brakes the only diff is the 6 cylinders and possibly the 318is had vented disc the other 4 bangers had solid discs.

Only small engined saloons without ABS had solid front discs/rear drums. Everything else, plus the iS, had vented front discs and solid rear discs.
