As I've already posted my heater matrix has decided to dump coolant into the passenger footwell.

I bought a replacement part but does anyone know of a good guide to show how to change it? I have a Bentley manual but it covers LHD drive which obviously differs from our set up.

Are you certain that it's the heater matrix?

Normally it's the o-rings in the pipes for the matrix that fail causing the wet footwell.

I'm pretty sure as water was flooding in from the heater vent.

which side of the centre console is the wettest?? normaly if its the passenger side then its the valve O rings that have gone.

I replaced my Heater Matrix using the Haynes manual which gave a step by step guide with photos. I usually don't like Haynes but this was pretty good when you get into it. Their ambiguous descriptions actually can't be anything else when your there looking at the part, if you see what I mean...

Took an evening but satisfying to complete. Everything bolts straight on and off without any problems.

Good luck.
