Hello,

inspired by the WIKI retrofitting pages I've sourced and fitted some heated washer jets. Now, how to wire in?

Should I locate the loom down the passenger side of the bonnet down to the fuse box, or, down the driver side with the washer fluid pipes as per the WIKI instructions (which are not for an E30)?

There are 2 blue plugs on the loom, each with a brown and a purple/black wire - where do these plug in? Or, is it a cut and solder in job? I was considering fuse 8 - the heated rear window.

Any ideas? I have a pre-facelift car.

Thanks,
:)

Brown wire goes to earth. Purple/black connects to the purple/black going to the screen washer pump, and this connection is made by disconnecting the plug from the washer pump and inserting a short loom, fitted with male and female matching plugs, between the disconnected plug and the pump. The brown/black in this loom just passes straight through, but the purple/black has a tee connection for the jets.

Yep, went straight in. Another beer for Mr Moore.
Thank you, sir.
