Dodgy windscreen wipers

My windscreen wipers are sticking and then when down in the off position they hop back up half way on the windscreen without me touching the stalk, really annoying, any advice

might need to refurb wiper motor....i'm sure it is in the wiki?

Wiper faults are normally due to the wiper motor needing a refurb as detailed in the wiki link. The relay is also a possibility (I had one fail many years ago) but its nearly always the motor.
