Hi. realoem.com list 3 different colours for the above ; green yellow and white, each colour is availabe in three sizes. My big end bearings need replacing and I'm wondering which colour to order.
Thanks.

has your crank ever been re-ground? you may need to have it mike'd up at a machine shop-colours indicate sizes.

As Simon says, you have to trial fit a new bearing shell and use plastigauge to see if it's the right one. Engine building, done properly, involves a lot of putting together and taking apart. Six steps forward; five steps back.
If the crank is being machined, ask the machine shop to select and supply the bearings for you.

Thanks for the input guys. The condition of the crank is fine. i'm using the small shells; blue for the top and red on the bottom..
I have made an error in my original comment, it relates to the crank bearings not the big ends.(sorry)
These are available in the three colours aforementioned.
I will be needing the small (thin) ones ie. 60mm (0). There are three part no.s for this size in the three colours. is it the case that these are different sizes that are too small to declare ?

On closer inspection, paint spots have been left by the factory. Moving over to the M20 sub-forum with pics.
