I've been having problems with the washer jets since I bought my '89 325i coupe; one jet fires OK-ish, the other only dribbles, the T-piece/valves also leak and the hoses have age hardened and are causing a few leaks now that I've disturbed them. I'm now looking to buy new jets (heated), new valves and new hose to renew the entire system.
While looking on REAL OEM for part numbers I noticed that the diagram displays only one valve, and this is backed up in the parts list as only one required. My car has two of these valves plus a basic T-piece. I'm now a little confused as to how many I should be ordering. Can anyone enlighten me please?
Also, having struggled in the past with the original washer hose clips, can anyone offer any tips/advice on removing and refitting these or do people tend to omit these or replace them with something else?
