After that hit'n'run the outher day ive still not had the time to connect my passenger side indicator back on again,at the moment the wire is just hanging there..

Any ideas as to why i keep blowing 2x15amp fuses when i try to use the indicators or Hazards?,not to sure what fuses they are but im guessing there related.

Is this just because one of the indicators isnt connected? 8O

All was well before i took this bloody knock

First point, moisture has no effect whatsover on low voltage, relatively high power circuits like these. Long term it will cause corrosion, but short term, no effect at all.
Could give better advice if you said what fuses are blowing, but the most likely problem is that a cable(s) have been trapped and damaged in the accident to which you refer.

Well when it happened i instantly though bulb blown as the DMG to my car was next to nothing..

stupid thing to do but i had the hazrds on which were working at that point all indi's bar the one that i was changing..took the bulb out and checked it,then replaced it with the hazrds still flashing..

next time i operated indi's i had nothing...dont know if that gives you any clues

strange thing is that my alarm flashes only 2 of the indi'd when i disarm or arm as opposed to all 6,and the 2 it flashes are on the side that wasnt touched..

i just dont get it.

1 min there all flashing bar the one that was hit, next thing none are flashing and will blow those 2 fuses if i attempt to use em

I gota feeling these arnt going to work once i connect that front side up again..and just sux considering they were working till i chose to pull out the bulb and put it back in again with the hazrds flashing

So i know its not any tangled or caught cables, not to mention the fact that i can see that all cables are intact and where they should be apart from the side that is hangin down

sounds stupid but try swapping your hazard warning switch with one from another E30 (preferably one with working indicators!!)

the hazard warning switch acts as junction box for all the indicator/hazard circuits, so damage to this (however it may have happened) will affect any circuits.

also, try checking the flash relay, tucked up behind the lower steering column shroud...

hope this helps

Hmm.. funnt how electrica work eh?

removed the mark left by mr/mrs hit'N'run..very small cracks in paintwork on bumper but very hard to see luckly..

I manged to connect the power lead back onto the fron indicator and hey presto!.. there all working again INC hazards :)

So...

Why now arnt ALL my indicators falshing when ARMING/DISARMING alarm like they used too..

Completely baffled
