My sunroof keeps going out of sync. As in the positions it stops in. I keep resetting it and its getting annoying now but I can't see why it keeps doing it. Any ideas what needs doing to it or what I need to replace. Ta

Motor assembly. Cog must be jumping in the gearbox.

Doesn't make any sounds like the cogs jumping though, and doesn't go out of sync straight away. Will get a motor assembly, thanks Brian

That's why I think it's internal in the gearbox, rather than the drive to the cables jumping. If these jump, then you will hear it, and the roof is likely to go out of sync side to side.
There's a camshaft attached to one of the intermediate gears on the gearbox which works a microswitch that in turn controls the motor, and the slippage must be between this and the actual drive cog.
