Right

so its an open diff from 320i 3.91 ratio

few weeks back was doing a bit of whining noise
after few burnouts, drifts and high speeds it started acting like a welded or lsd diff
symptoms
1- in burnout, rather than 1 wheel spinning its both
2- turning on full lock, it make noises and one tyre trying to go opposite way

is the diff on its way out or did it get welded on its own lol ??
I know a lot about cars. I can look at a car's headlights and tell you exactly which way it's coming

No but its possible to get a diff so hot that the internals start to bind.
The clearances in them are pretty tight and canning the car at slow speed with no airflow can see a diff so hot that the only way for the gear to expand further is to mash into each other.
Seen it on a sprint car but never a road car so likely a bad sign.
Worth jacking the car up and checking the diff just for safety's sake.
