Personally I'd tried a new switch first they are prone to playing up so sending no signal to the mirrors there are loads around so won't be much

Pull out the switch, and connect a 12 volt bulb of 3W - 21W across pins 4 (green/white) and 2 (brown), and check that it lights with the ignition on.
If so, fit a short piece of wire between pin 4 and 6 (blue/black), and connect another piece of wire to pin 3 (blue/white). Touch the end of this wire into pin 2, and one of the mirrors should move sideways.
If it does, this confirms the switch is faulty.
