I'm hoping somebody can help me here... I'm currently in the process of converting the rear drums on my 320i to discs using salvaged 325i parts. Whilst I'm doing the swap I was hoping to to change the shocks to Bilstein B4 items and change the springs; possibly to those of the Eibach variety. Are there any differences between 320i and 325i in terms of aftermarket options? The plot also thickens in that I'm hoping to start a m30 conversion in the not too distant future. I would like a drop of maybe 30mm in total with the springs. I know there's a weight penalty with this, so advice on an adequate setup would be appreciated!
