The way I drive mine - about 10-15mpg.

But if you're sensible and on a long run you should get 30-35mpg.

Welcome to the zone btw. :thumb:

never worked out the mpg, but as a rule of thumb, i would usually get 100 miles for Ԛ£20 of fuel around town. more on motorway cruising, provided I keep it below 100 :-x

I've got a slight fuel leak but still manage around 20mpg driving briskly but with mechanical sympathy.

2.5s in good shape can make late 20s in dya to day use but drop sharpish around town or on the razzle. Open road I'd guess you might break 30mpg with a nice constant speed in the 50-75mph braket.

Used to get 29ish mpg around town easy peasy, and around 35mpg on the motorway.

I've said it a million times before, and will probably say it another million: if you stop, you pay, so don't stop! (Unless you have to)

I get about 170 per tankful..
Though motorway miles I got Wilts - brighton- wilts and a few extra miles on top of that for a tank of gas.

BUT usually around 200m for 65 ( Ithink ) L.

Scored a good run back from london to warminster- VIA southampton ( Don't ask) got 220 ish before it got to the line before R

my 325i Auto is zone chipped and got a BBTB, I use it spirited driving in town, I get about 26mpg but drive more sober then I get about 28mpg in city driving.

Long distance highway driving I beleive it is about 36mpg odd some thing. Simply fantastic.

I use Fusch Synthetic 5-40W engine oil

my sport gives about 22mpg around town, on the m-way etc up to 29mpg. I have had 30mpg once!

so around 280-360miles to a tankfull in mine depending on whether it's in town or m-way

Guys let me know what fuel stations you lot use, I'll be buying some more shares in the morning!!!!

I miss my old 323i for the torque it had, but I'd never miss the economy of my 318iS, sorry to rub it in, but I'm getting old..... 35 soon! and economy counts at my age! well maybe not, but i would cry if my car didn't return 300 - 400 miles per tank! (55L tank)

another student here on a 325i, the OBC claims i am averaging 19 atm, but it lies. Tried to tell me i was averaging 30mpg on my way to ibiza, i was at 130 most of the way through france and spain, only time i sloewd was on the ferry, from barcelona. I actually get around 22mpg on resonbly spirtited driving, 26-28mpg on general slowness, most likloey below 20 when she is truely being opened up.

i had 325i se 4 door saloon auto switchable. Ԛ£65 full tank 280-320 on unleaded. tryed optimax 250-280 miles Ԛ£70 tank. Tried Ԛ£45 unleaded and Ԛ£30 optimax was getting 320-375. motorways crusing at 95 mph was the ideal i found.
