It seems my e30 is running way richer than it should. Running about 5 kilometers per liter at the moment, where it should go around 10-12 instead.

Checked out my blue temp sensor, which seems fine. Had it tested to 330 at warm and 1900 at coldest.

Had a computer on it and saw that my AFM didnt move at all, was stuck at 0.8v when i was driving. Didnt move at all even if i clamped it and drove as crazy as i could.. Still didnt move.
Could the problem be there?
I do also smell alittle fuel inside the car, but only when im holding in a line in the city. Not when driving.

excuse my english, but im explaining it as good as i can. :(
thanks from a frustrated e30 owner.

Where did you connect the leads to test the 'blue' sensor? It's important to test it at the ECU plug, so that the wiring is included.
AFM flaps have been known to distort and get stuck. Remove the air filter box, so that you can see it with the engine running.

I couldnt seem to measure anything on the pins on the ECU plug..
But i spotted a rotten hose under the inlet manifold, going from the side of the throttle housing and under the inlet manifold and over to the top of the valve cover? Could this be affecting my milage? What does that hose even do?

Ive uploaded a few images for you:
Hose under the inlet manifold: Image
Same hose just on the side of the throttle house: Image
Cannot measure anything on the ECU plug: Image

Ive had the air filter box removed and saw that the AFM flap was moving as it should, so it should be fine, even though the computer told something different. (Maybe wasnt quite compatible with my old car, i dont know.)

Ah thanks.
Do you have any comment for my damaged hose? Could it possibly cause my bad milage?

I did remove it and it had a few more and even deeper scars than the ones you can see on the picture though.
I removed a spark plug and it even seems to look like it sparks quite well. The car drives and pulls fine as it should, but does have this bad milage and smells like fuel inside the car.. Really odd..

You can learn a lot about the condition of an engine from looking at the working end of the spark plugs. What did the tip of yours look like?
Be careful with those test meter prods on the ECU (or any other) plug. If you push it right into the buckets you will do irreparable damage to it.
Have you redone the blue sensor test yet?
What age is the car?

It was just a touch of light brown as it should. I did measure the ecu plug again and i had it for 330 when warm and 1900 when coldest.
Its an 1987 e30.

Im getting more and more suspecious on the injectors being blocked somehow, wouldnt it cause it to spend more fuel when spraying due to the pressure?

Could an old airfilter cause this problem? The former owner have drilled a Big hole in the top of the airbox for an unknown reason.. Its a bit grey on the bottom of the filter element.

Big hole drilled in the airbox just means a previous owner was an idiot, and could have done equally stupid things in other areas of the car. Check the tabs that hold the lid on the engine ECU for any signs of disturbance
Clogged air filters will cause an engine to run rich, but this would be reflected in the colour of the tips of the spark plugs. If they are all light brown in colour, then the mixture strength isn't far out.
Are you sure you haven't got a simple fuel leak somewhere?

Yea ok, it is even drilled on the top side of the element, so maybe it could be that was the reason he drilled a hole there? That the element is clogged.
I have checked for fuel leaks, and it seems to be dry on every hose, and even around the injectors theres nothing to see.. I could post you a picture of all 6 plugs later if that Might help.
