Just wondering if anyone has any idea...

Washed my car yesterday, I drive out the garage and indicate right, and all goes double the usual speed (indicator clicks, dash light and outside lights). When I indicate left it works as normal, and everything is fine with the hazards on.

I did swap two fuses before washing the car (thought I'd mention it just in case the cause of this is because I've possible knocked a fuse or something?)

Thanks

all the lamps actually work on both sides? It's usually the relay that causes this problem, I think..?

Yes, all lamps working on both sides, just the right side is working overtime. Ok, I'll check the relay.
Thanks!

A more in-depth search of the Wiki gave me ...
'In typical fashion, if a bulb blows then the indicator on that side will flash twice as fast as before.'

I'll double check all the bulbs when I'm back at the car.

Normally the bulb or the connection to a bulb is loose, maybe the rear light cluster has come loose, that's the cover with the twisty knob (s)

I had a similar issue and it was corrosion on the connectors behind the front indicator

The 'relay' is not causing any problem, it's doing the job it is legally required to do - indicating (no pun intended) that there is a problem with the indicators on that side.
If you check carefully, you will find that one or more bulbs is flashing less brightly than it should.

I had a look on my lunch break, swapped the bulb from the other side, same thing happened. but for some reason, about the 3-4 time i unscrewed then screwed the cluster back in, all seemed to be in order.

Thanks for all the help guys! Only another 7-8 other problems to sort now then she'll be good as new.....ish
