Anyone got any clear images shiwing how the rear brake line runs on the trailing arms? Trying to find some pics but not having any luck really, it looks like it runs under the arm and clips onto a clip?

There isnt anything in the wiki really. It was really just to figure out how its routed and which clips to use as i had a few different ones.
Got one done now, second should be done tomorrow. As per usual, i have pics for my thread and i might look at doing something for the wiki with pics that show the arms from all sides.

There are pics around: I just didn't think it was something that needed Wikifying. Here's a few grabbed from my resto thread:

I suppose an article on replacing all the rear brake lines wouldn't go amiss, so if you can take photos of undoing the brake nuts at the caliper end, I can knock something up wiki-wise

Hard line runs down the inner edge of the trailing arm, just under the welded join.
Held by two plastic clips that push into holes in the trailing arm,one at each end.

I got them done over the weekend Malcolm. Strangely bmwfans, lists 3x of the black brackets and 1x other one, the other one I can't see where its meant to go and I'm short a black one for now.

I have a feeling that the black clips secure the pad warning/ABS loom and the white one's the brake lines!
Wiring on the top of the arms....I think....
You really need help from a bufty type,or just plain help!

Yeah, if there's only one clip mentioned, it'll be the one that secures the rear right brake pad sensor wire to the handbrake cable. But there still ought to be four of the standard pipe clips too.
I think I've got some unused new ones if you just need a couple chucked in an envelope.

I think they might have changed the clips to a black color instead of white, for the hose anyway cause the smaller one I have is white and prob for the cable. I've no idea how that cable runs so if anyone has some pics it would be helpful!
Grrrrr thanks for the offer but unless it cost pennies (or zloty) to send one it's probably as cheap for me to get one from the dealer with my next order?

If you enlarge the Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr's piccie, you can just about see the cable. It's to the left of the righthand driveshaft's inner end.

Looks like its on a clip on the handbrake cable? I can't even find a picture of it, will take one next weekend if I think of it.
