I've got my battery in the boot, using the standard 325i battery cable at the moment. I'm fitting a battery cut-off switch, so am going to run new cable from the battery to the front of the car, via the switch, and was wondering which diameter cable to go for. If it helps, the car is running an m30b35 with a bit higher compression than standard with a standard m30b35 alternator and starter, and the central locking and electric windows taken out.
Would this be ok? http://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/extra-fle ... metre.html
Thanks, Jer

A battery cut off switch should ideally be placed in series with the battery negative to earth wire.
Note that there should be two positive wires running from the rear battery to the front of the car.
