Hi All.
I am resolving some issues with the fuel lines at the moment, namely that they leak. Next to the two steel fuel lines that come up into the engine bay, there is a third pipe, which has rubber hose (fuel) hose attached. The rubber hose is about 450mm long, and is completely unattached to anything on the other end and is loose in the engine bay.
What is it??
Thanks,
Reuben

Fuel tank vent pipe. It comes over to the front to connect to emissions equipment if fitted.
Free end of the pipe should be tucked inside the reinforcement for the suspension turret.

Thanks Brian.
I was driving through traffic yesterday and realised I was losing what looked like a litre of fuel a minute! I opened the bonnet to discover the fuel pipe to injector rail union was spraying a fine mist of vapourised fuel all over the engine bay! Rather a buttock clenching drive back to the house!
