Potential Sport Seat Problem

Hello all,

When I lift the lever to adjust the rear/back of the sport seat, it falls all the way down and hits the rear seat unless I hold it, meaning its a two hand operation.
Both the drivers and passenger seats do this and I was just wondering if they should, if not, maybe there is a spring that loses tension?

I think it'll be the damper that's shot. In my experience it's easier to swap the plates they sit on, piece of cake to do.

So are the seats meant to rise forward and hit your back when you lift the lever, and then you just lean to the position you want and release the lever?

Indeed. You should be pushing against pressure to move the seat back towards the rear when the lever is pulled.
