Front brake disc dust shields

Hey guys

Cant find a previous thread on this, I know it's fairly uncommon topic. One of my front disc dust shields has finally given up the ghost on my ' 87 325 and completely dropped off due to terminal rust. Don't really want to remove the hub to replace it/them. Is there an alternative to use without taking off the hub? I've seen some cooling contraptions that direct the air flow direct onto the discs. Anybody have any idea's?
