Another central locking issue

Hi,

I have h reg 318i auto and since buying it I noticed that the drivers door locking mechanism sometimes pops up after locking the door from the outside.. Thus making the door unlocked... Both doors lock and unlock on the key and by pulling the pin, but when the pin creeps up on the drivers door only that door is unlocked.. Both the boot and fuel flap do not work on the central locking either..

Driving along today I noticed that every time I braked or used the indicators I could hear the central locking clicking and could feel the drivers door pin move a little.

The central locking keeps on clicking intermittently now and it's getting on my tits..

Please can someone advise me of where to look. I understand that the control box is behind the drivers front speaker.. Would then "red black wire mod" help my issues?

Red/black wire mod. should be done on all E30s, whether or not they have central locking issues.
The central locking unsets itself when it thinks the driver's door isn't shut, so check the adjustment of the driver's door lock motor.
