Hello.

I am doing an S54 conversion and need to free up more room around the tight area between engine and radiator to try fit a puller electric fan, I want to fit a slimmer radiator that will fit in the E30 chassis without having to hack things up.

Which Radiators are a good Fit and how smaller are they than the stock radiator?

Thanks.

You might struggle with that as most 'uprated' radiators actually have thicker cores. Why not put a pusher fan between rad and front grill? That's what most 24valvers have done :)

You can also use OE BMW parts. Standard E30 aircon fan and wiring.

I believe his car has aircon as he has mentioned not wanting to move the condenser in another post and PM to me.

Ian332isport ran his S50'd E30 with aircon running the standard S50 rad and a 'pusher' fan, so a rad with a thinner core isn't needed.
I'm also not sure I'd want to run a rad that's thinner than the standard S50 item with any S5x engine under the bonnet.

E28 535i rad? These are slim with large coverage area and if it keeps an M30 cool a S50 wont be a problem.
