They not for lighting the road, they're for putting in fog lights to use as always on DRL lights.
They don't give anywhere near as much light as a normal 55w bulb, or hid kit.
A standard h1 bulb is around 1500 lumens, those led ones are quoted as 600 lumens, so they less than half as bright as a standard headlight bulb.
If you want to upgrade your headlights, an HID kit is what you need.
