Fellas,

I bought some new wiper blades from BMW - but the size of the plastic part that slots into the wiper arm seems to be way off (the new ones are much bigger). Is there different sizes of arm? Could I potentially have an aftermarket arm in there?

Solution = new wiper arms from BMW (the old ones are a big minging anyway)?

Cheers!

The plastic clip normally pops off the wiper blade so you can change it to suit the wiper arm - if you buy from Halfrauds etc, there is usually a couple different plastic clips in the box so you can use whichever fits.
You could always go back to BMW for different clips (if they do them) or reuse the clips from your old wiper blades.

Frustratingly, no - the pin that it sits on is much thicker on the new one than the old.

Ideas appreciated! Will ask the guys at Cotswold.

Cheers,
