Weird problem just cropped out of nowhere..

My middle slider that controls air flow to vents facing the driver/passenger wouldn't go far left, so I forced it a bit and it clicked into place and now won't go back right at all

What can I do?

That's the usual. Now that you've forced it, it might you simply broken, or the cable outer may have moved under its retaining clip.
Pulling off the knobs, the escutcheon behind them, and undoing the four screws that you've just exposed will get the slider plate loose, and taking off the panel above the driver's legs will allow you to get a view of the other end of the cables.
