I have a spare inlet manifold and I imagine it could get me some more ponies if I was to have it ported, but I don't have a clue when it comes to this sort of this.
Are there any set measurements I need to supply for a decent job? Or is it just a case of taking it to the place that sorted out my bottom end and asking them to port it for me?

Thank you very much for taking the time in calling me Iain, top geezer
Still a consideration though, off-the-shelf head upgrade perhaps

Here is a pic of a Sport Evo/Late 215bhp head against a early 195bhp S14 head.
The 195 is the closer one in the pic,

Now you can really see what extent BMW went to porting the inlet ports.
And this is a mild port as the DTM cars had even more.
