All,

My 333i was converted to a Zytek ECU back in the 80's, having issues with the idle at the moment. Zytek cannot control idle, and trying to track down what idle control was on the BMW's of this era? I have been on real oem and there is a idle control unit listed part number 13411286134 which needs to be used in conjuction with airflow valve 13411286688 also appears to have a temperature switch 12631279720 listed on same sheet. Anyone familiar with this set up and can it work independant to the Motronic ECU. Don't like the look of the price on these parts either, but not even sure if they are being used on the Zytek conversion.

Currently when pulling fuel from the map all what happens is the idle increases as it is so rich co 6% and then I start going into a new speed site on the map.

Struggling with this one.

Check the blue temperature sensor and/or temperature switch as a first step.

Blue sensor is dropping to 200ohms when warmed up only tested voltage at ecu when car cold and this was in the correct range 3.52 volts guess I should try again at eCU when warmed up but as the sensor was dropping resitance as expected I guess it will be ok. What is the temerature switch where is this?

think it is BMW fitment, found it in the coolant section of the E28 535i item 6 is the idle adjuster for when item 8 which is the electro mechanical cold start air admittance valve has closed.
