Last night, my tank had done 330 miles and the fuel guage was on the red light so I KNOW it is nearly empty, and yet the OBC rekons I've got 34.5l left in tank. Surely the little knob wont adjust this scale of error, does anyone know how I can resolve it so its at least a bit more accurate!!?

Thanks

Mine adjusts by loads... Just do it with the engine running (I did it whilst driving!) & it's simple enough. Mine has about 12/15L remaining when the light comes on if that's any help :thumb:

12/15l?! My god I only have that much when I'm driving out of the petrol station!

I think my light comes on at around 7l, and I know it's accurate with the amount of miles left thanks to a very clever and technical test I did when I ran out of fuel on my way home. Besides that I've often run it to under 12 miles left, soon after which it will only read --:-- or something similar, as if to say 'don't blame me if you run out'. Never re-calibrated it either.

Yup, I usually fill up a while after the light comes on, & can only fit 45L (ish) in... I've not tried running out to make sure though!

hey guys, where is the light on the dash? I can get the needle into the black, with the obc reading 3 litres, but, no light?

Cheers, Bob.

I imagine the tank is nearly empty when the needle's gone through the red?

Easy way to tell; how much does it take to fill up from there?!

Awesome, thanks guys i think I've fixed it, this time when i adjusted the little screw it changed it from 47 to 41 L, which I think was enough as the tank is now half empty and showing 32L which is about right I rekon. Cheers for the help!
