Its been going on for ages now, every journey, after 10 minutes or so, if I indicate left my check control indicator lights up for the brake lights!! Suggestions of checking the connections/bulbs have been given but all are fine. Its even had new circuit boards behind the instrument panel to address other problems. Any ideas, it must be something specific as it is ALWAYS activated by a left indication, never just spontaneously!

Any help greatly appreciated

Change the brake light bulbs anyway for good quality ones, even if they are in full working order. The only connection between the two things that i can see, is a possible small problem with the common earth path from the LH rear cluster. Chief suspects are the plug/socket for the cluster lamp board and the actual earth connection under the LH side of the rear seat base.

thanks for the advice, Brian where exactly is this ground point? I've never taken the seats or anything out before so have no idea what its like under there!
