Finnaly got my scorpion center section and back box fitted to my sport 1 today by a friend of a friend who works in a mazda garage.
Thing is he fitted in his lunch break and allthough he did a good job (i watched him do it) he didnt have time to play about with it to get the tail pipes central.
the car is going into my mates garage in jan or feb to have some other work done and hopefully sort this out while hes doing the other bits.
is this normal for scorpions not to fit too well?, has anyone else had these problems?
i was told that they were a good fit normaly.
if its a simple job to alighn correctly i may have a go myself!
would welcome any advise!

Best way to get a good fit with regards to the box at the back, loosen all the mounts/brackets from where the centre meets the downpipe, position the back box where you're happy, hold it there when someone re-tightens everything back up, when your fitting the system on your own, getting it to sit properly where it exits the valcence can be difficult!

It is a bit of a job to get it to line up, it really needs 2-3 people. One to hold the box straight, one to tighten everything up while your holding it straight and someone to look from a distance to get a better idea if it is straight.

I fitted a complete scorpion yesterday, didn't have access to a lift and managed to get it central. Car was on axle stands and ramps so was lying on my back, bloody hard work on your own but achievable. Good luck

mine went on a treat,no complaints, have you used two straps on the rear box? if not you should, stiffens it up and you can tighten them whilst its in position and itll never move
