Windows not working with door open

For some reason, I always have this STOP working on any e30 I get...the windows stop working with the door open (the window switches aren't illuminated either).

I don't THINK it's a door shut sensor thing - is there a fuse that blows? If so - which one?

I think I am being really dumb...

Fuse is 28. Shared with the lighter and electric aerial.

Check door pin switch. It's has double contacts.

I had same problem and was this, the door pin switch was corroded cleaned it up then all was good
