hi,ive spent this weekend doing a dashboard change and for those who want to do it but worry that its difficult,it really isnt,i will say though that an added bonus for me was i took the new one out of the other car and i kept all of the fixings,make sure you do this as they vary slightly,and i had to change the whole air system over behind the dash too as this was different,its only a few screws and the other set line up with the old holes anyway! just make sure you remember to put the plastic cover on top of the steering column back on before you put the new dash in,i didnt and had to take it out again! and remove the plastic from the pillars too,hope this helps someone,

yeah,and one bonus was when i took the lower panel out with the ashtray in it,there was a bmw torch behind it,yippee!! haha!!

There's been a BMW torch in there on about half the E30s I've worked on. An average of about Ԛ£3-20 as well.
