I found that I needed the complete electric sunroof mech from donor,so I used motor mount complete with guide tubes.
The motor needs it's matching harness to make wiring easy,a wire runs down the n/s pillar trim to the accessories socket behind the glovebox.
This gives a power sunroof that works with the ign on,the stock arrangement where it can be operated by just opening a front door is more complex!
You also need to consider just what you will do with the hole left when the manual winder is removed.I was working on a touring, and used the black moulded front headliner bit that came out of my donor SE saloon. This required modification to the touring's headliner.Saloon's have a fabric roof liner,so thought needs to be given to this as well.
