Teething Probs

This weekend, I plan to tackle the outstanding electrical issues I have with my project car prior to MOT time. I already have a post in the M50/M52 section regarding my electric fan, but the other issues I have are as follows:

- No indicators/hazards (hazards switch lights up when pushed, but doesn't flash. No flashing/ticking from anywhere with regards to indicators)
- No electric windows
- Missing relay in driver's footwell

I have consulted the wiki and according to the info there, it's likely that the lack of indicators is to do with the glovebox light as all gubbins associated with the glovebox have been completely removed. I find this odd though, because consulting the wiring diagrams, I can't see how the indicators can be affected by the glovebox light? Can anyone shed any light on this?

Was going to check electric window switches for power first, then motors and go from there. They just flat don't work (yes, I have tried the window lock! Incidentally, can I bypass this?). But heater controls and electric mirrors work fine, so I don't think it's an associated problem.

The missing relay is a 6-pin relay. I assume it's the interior light timing relay? Is this required to a) make the interior lights work via the normal switch and b) to make anything else work?

Okay, fixed stuff just indicators still not working. I cant find any of the glovebox wiring save for the torch charging block. Bit stuck here guys, so if anyone can help me out that would be great!

If you did some work there are the earths back connected securely too? My earths near the left headlight were loose and indicators were stuffed.

Indicators now working. Was using the hazard light socket for troubleshooting (could make most things happen by jumping various pins but not all) and the crimps and wires basically fell apart in my hands. Got a new socket and switch in short order thanks to Sweep on here and soldered it in. Alls good, except front bumper indicators don't work. Checked the bulbs and they are good. Any common probs I need to be looking for?
