316i exhaust question

Iv just got my new front pipe and its got a hole for the lamber senser but I can't find one on my old front pipe do I have to blank it off and if so were do I get the plug from

You must have got the wrong exhaust part for the year of you car, I think they started putting cats on in 92
I'm sure someone will help more if you can get a plug bolt or try useing a bolt with the right threads and see how it goes?
