I have been off here for a while as my car has been off the road but now its back. Since it went off the road the central locking has stopped working (also the interior fans)
I took it to a garage for the MOT and they lost the keys. I have had a new one made and got a new alarm fob (cobra) and still it doesn't work. The drivers door will unlock from the key but not lock, to lock it I have to lean across from the passenger side and its starting to really annoy me, it was the same with the old key but the remote central locking always worked so it wasn't a problem.
I have looked at the control unit and it is a mess but it does click when I press my fob or I push the drivers door pin down. I have checked the wiring to the actuator and cleaned out the door plug of any dirt or rust. I have tried splicing the red and black wires between the control unit and the relay (I have two on the relay and I have tried both)
Does anybody have any other ideas of what could cause this? I don't think its the actual actuator as its stopped working on both doors, the boot and the petrol cap. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

I was trying a volt meter on the white and blue wires (apparently the ones that tell the actuator to lock and unlock the drivers door) and am getting nothing but when I link the volt meter to the blue wire and lock the car the passenger door makes a noise like the actuator is moving but the door does not lock. Will now try it with the door locked and see if its unlocking
