Hi guys
Another quick one from me, I seem to be having an issue with a vague steering as well as the wheel does not seem to right itself after taking a turn.
Now I have seen the Wiki suggesting it's the guibo , but without actually pulling the guibo off is there anyway for me to tell how worn it is.
also the steering does not seem to come to a centre position after cornering or turning while moving, so it means I am having to turn the wheel then turn it back straight. Could this be related to the above.
I know it needs a fluid change as the fluid is a nice brownish sort of color and there are no leaks in the system.
Any guesses /ideas?

You can see the guibo from above.....turn the steering wheel side to side while watching the steering shaft inside the engine bay...you should easily see if the guibo is worn...there should be no play when you rotate the steering.
You can suck out all the fluid in the resevoir with a large syringe and then put new fluid in....this if you are too lazy to completely drain all the old fluid out.

ok, did the check above and have a bit of flex on the guibo, not play but a slight amount of flexing of the guibo.
If I shine a torch down I can see some cracks , I guess better safe then sorry and replace it.

Here is something, is it at all possible to swap the front lollipops around, as in left on right and right on left, are they actually interchangeable.
Reason I ask is , someone I asked about castor said turn the wheel full lock then accelerate (wide open area of course) the wheel should pull straight , now do it in reverse and the wheel should crab.
Tried this and in reverse the wheel pulls straight , going forward it crabs.
