Fuse keepsblowing

I need to use my sat nav and the cig lighter all of a sudden does not work. It seemed to have happened after i used a hoover, which operates off the cig lighter. Im trying to replace the fuse which is a 30A in 28....but it keeps blowing....any ideas??

Take the pin/aluminium foil/other piece of random metallic debris out of the lighter socket.
