as above how can one adjust the tension on the rear boot door hinges as i have fitted a tech 2 spoiler/boot to the car and it previously had no spoiler so the tension in the hinges needs to be increased quite a bit to take the weight!
thanks!

Assuming we're talking about a saloon, there are three (?) positions that you can hook the fixed end of the torsion spring into. Should be obvious when you look at it.

alright i had a look and seen there was 2 positions to adjust the tension on both of the cars! any way it was easy to do and now no more worrying about the boot door closing on my head!Brianmoooore wrote:Assuming we're talking about a saloon, there are three (?) positions that you can hook the fixed end of the torsion spring into. i also noticed the donor's hinges have much more tension but were in the same position as the other car so there must be another difference some where?
