Hi Guys

I have just bought my first E30 :D
It is a 325i Touring.

I have used the search function on the site but it doesn't really work overly well and I couldn't find what I was looking for.

I would like to get some different wheels for it and would like to know what sizes/widths etc you can get away with without having any technical issues like rubbing etc?

The car has I think 40mm lowering springs and the current tyres on there are 205/50R15.
I would quite like to get 16" rims on there and for them to fill out the arches a bit more to give a more aggressive look.

So any info / insight into the above points would be greatly appreciated. :)

Also, a pic of the current wheels. Would quite like some similar but with more dish but we shall see..
(out of interest what are the current ones worth roughly??although I will most likely keep them so I can put it back to 'stock')

Check out the wheels section here > http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/index.php/Wheels

I would say your current wheels (same condition as the one in the pic), assuming you have all the caps, and the tyres are decent - worth about £250-300?

Thanks Rav

Thanks zd

Forgot all about the wiki... that visual tyre size indicator is cool

Little tiny explanation on the ET, as it wasn't mentioned on the wiki page. http://www.needforspeed.co.uk/htmlpages/TechWheels.htm
