Finally gave in and bought my 325i sport

Hey I'm Ryan and new to the forum. Yesterday after 4 years saving and now with a low enough insurance quote I purchased my beautiful e30 325i sport m-tech 2 and I'm in love!
I've loved these cars since the age on 6 when my dad had a few and I can now see why he pushed me to buy one!
Just wondering if anyone's got any advice e.g clubs, first maintenance, do's and dont's really!
I also had an issue yesterday with I cutting out when dropping back down to idle when I was driving it almost as though there was a misfire, so rolled into my local garage played with the leads and the throttle bottle jump back in and away she went! Any ideas? I did notice the throttle body has a small amount of play in the actual unit?
Any feedback or info would be greatful and its nice to now call myself an e30 owner
Missing the tray for under the drivers dash side if anybody knows of any? Forgot to mention the brake warning light in on on the centre column any ideas? Any info will be much appreciated.

For all of your technical issues, get familiar with the Wiki. It covers pretty much all of the common E30 issues, and well as a few of the weirder ones. For your stalling issue:

For your brake light, have you actually checked the brakes? If they're ok, read this:

For your other problems, you'll get better results if you place individual questions/requests in the specific parts of the zone, so for your missing dash panel try sticking an advert in the Wanted Parts section of the Zone. There are plenty of traders on here who will help you.
