327iA Sport 89.
I've had an intermittent fault with the windows and roof not working on the switches for some time. Happened occassionally in the summer but now with the cold mornings its every day. They all work with the door open just not on the interior switches and they do come alive eventually once the car has been in use for about 15-30 mins depending on the temp. I've had all the switches out and cleaned them up.
Anyone had this fault and fixed it?

Yes, this is a new one! Try pulling out unloader relay K5 in the fusebox and linking together pins 30 and 87 of its socket with a short piece of wire and see if this cures yhe problem. Note: the roof and windows will operate without the ignition with this link in place.

Thanks Brian, I'll give that a go in the morning. Failing that I'll have to fit a heater to the fuse box!!!! Thanks for the quick reply.

Now that's the sort practical tip I like. Must be South of France for a blocked air filter!!!
Got pointed to a faulty earth on the starter motor today. Two members at the rolling road day today had had the same window problem and that's what sorted theirs.
