programming OBC???

I've got a 1985 528i so i realise i'm a little out of place here but there arnt enuf e28 owners alive to have our own site. Either way my OBC has some how reset so all the times/ dates/ bla bla bla are back to nothing. does any1 know how to program these bad boys cause im baffled and i cant find anything on the web. if any1 can help, that would be sweet. its pretty easy really.
there is a small button in the bottom right of the unit. Press this with a pin or the end of a pen and you will see the display change.
then press the 1 10 100 1000 buttons to set the time/date etc
then press the little button again.
to cycle through miles/Km etc, press the consumption button then the small button to cycle through.
