I have the load cover/dof net and would like to replace the load cover as it's getting a bit ragged. Has anyone tried this? What would I be faced with after opening the casing?

I've done this. Let me try to find the thread. Ridiculously easy.

Sorry, unable to find it. It's literally a couple of small screws, some pot rivets and that's that. You could try searching my username for a post in Tech Help about it, but, as I say, Search isn't working for me at the moment.

Not working for me either. So, drill out the rivets on the end caps, seperate the casing and the new load cover just pops into place?

Found your thread Beemerbird, but I'm guessing you worked on the basic load cover and not the combined cover/dog guard version?

Indeed. No worry about the tension (strangely). It's very straight forward.

Hopefully it's the same principle but with 2 rolls to contend with rather than one.

Ed, if it's double the trouble of changing the standard load cover, it's a walk in the park.
