A grade colder plugs would be good. Really depends what spec you're going to run in terms of mapping, turbo, cooling etc

Best option by far would be coil pack upgrade and stand alone ecu.

It runs on mega squirt at the moment , what coil pack would I use as it has a distributor at the moment ?

use a omega or vectra v6 coil pack,standard leads are fine but if you want to upgrade them then its up to you but as a matter of corse if there old wouldnt hurt to renew them and run it wasted spark and like s13b said run 7s resisted should be ok
