The one on the left is the fuel filter bracket, the one on the right looks like a heat shield from an engine mount

thanks Dan, i did have a carbon canister now you mention it in the engine bay, wonder if it was that ?

Could be yes, mounted in the same place as the fuel filter on most 4 pots
