gearing up to fit the bulkhead deadening, had a good look today removed necessary bits and tried to work it all out, pretty mkuch there...only thing im not sure about is the, steering column bit ? the big round hole, how on earth do you fit that/exactly does it go, is it hard ? or if you make a cut- where do you cut it

also, is it wise to waxoyl all behind it before fitting ?

any other tips etc ?

cheers :)

waxoyl all behind it before fitting
no

waxoyl stinks and the last thing you want is that behind a hot dash in the summer

imagine driving your wonderful car about with the stink of oil all the time...

use it inside the car SPARINGLY

Not sure about the deadening as i forgot to fit mine before re-fitting the dash :o:

What sort of sound-deadening are you using? The modern type of sticky-backed bitumen mats?
