Hi, i have removed the rear beam from the car and the bushes are out.
I have noticed that on the top of the bush there is a large metal washer.
Unfortunately it is so corroded onto the top of the bush i can't tell whether it is a washer or part of the old bush.
I have a feeling it is a large washer, i am replacing the old bushes with Powerflex poly bushes, will i need another washer to go between the top of the bush and the underside of the car?
Cheers

Here w go fella:

It is a seperate washer. I applied loads of heat to mine with a heat gun and persuaded it off with a hammer and WD40.
I strongly suspect you still need the washer with powerflex, thugh hopefuly someone will confirm. Does the kit have its own or a similar shape top?

its a pretty big job if your planning on doing it all at oncejamlid wrote:Realistically, how much work is it to polybush everything?dirtee-herbert wrote:I have recently polly bushed everyrthing and I re-fit the washers on top of the new rear beam bushes. No problems either. Good luck man.
i found it alot easier having a new set or trailing arms a rear beam and all the other bits to have powder coated and pollybush ready to swap over all in one go.
since you have the beam off i dont see why you shouldnt replace al of the trailing arm ones whilst your on with it.
then all you have to do are the lollypo bushes at the front to do and then the drop links and the antiroll bar bushes.
you can do the anti roll bar bushes easy whilst the rear beams off too.
