Will 5mm spacers be ok with the standard bolts or will longer bolts be needed?

Need to move my Sport and I need spacers to clear the calipers - the car is being towed, so I don't want the wheels falling off 8O
Only have 5mm ones at the moment, but can get some 3mm ones if its any better.

Cheers :)

5mm is fine enough, but if you intend to run the car like that for hard driving or that, stud the wheels or buy extended bolts. Id say studs, they save a lot of hastle

Thanks dude. So standard bolts will be ok with 5mm spacers - good good 8)

Won't be any hard driving, just towing it on an A-frame. I've thought about studs, but tbh, it's only ever going to be a road car and I won't be changing wheels that often.

Moving the car at the weekend - I'll be in touch if any wheels fall off  :P

Depends on wheel, poke a bolt through the wheel and measure how much thread is sticking out the back, then compare to the hub thread depth/spacer

Ideally 6 full turns of a wheel bolt is what's recommended.
