I was told by bmw that my e30 did not have central locking but since then I have noticed actuators on the boot lock and on the petrol cap... But none lock I checked fuse 27 which I found on the wiki to be for central locking and that's fine, was wondering what my next step was?

In your case, the first thing to do would be to remove the driver's speaker panel in the footwell, the speaker, the plastic plate below it, and to check if you actually have a locking ECU fitted.

Yeah it's there it's the 'temp fuse' but I need to get hold of some low temp solder but I touched it together and the whole system worked

There should be enough existing solder there to reset it. Everything is already tinned, so no flux is needed - just a hot iron to reflow the solder, and a steady hand to hold the spring in while the solder sets.

You probably let things move before the solder had set.

I had it clamped up heated it up until the solder melted and went back out to the car to swop speakers over when I came back it was cold to the touch let the clamp off it stayed there momentarily and pinged off
