Blinking LED elec. prob.

OK I got my self a blinking LED that simulates the alarm, but the problem is that i would connect it somehow that she blinks only when the car is locked, any ideas where to connect it, it has only two wires + and -, is there any elec. guru, smithy maybe, thanks guys

you would need to rig up a realy off the central locking system.
Pete don't care about colour, He would shag a rainbow if he could find the end of it....

i did one myself from maplins small circuit board that when the ignition was off it flashed when it was running it was off cost about a fiver to make was ok for a while ......this was a 3volt flashing led if you connect it to the central locking make sure the led is the same voltage as you will fry it as soon as you turn it on
